HOT DOG ROAST!!

You can measure the amount of fun by the dirt on their faces...they had a lot of fun! We went up the canyon behind Grandpa's house and roasted hot dogs, marshmallows and climbed the mountain. We saw a deer and listened to the owls hoot. Then home for a bath!

Partners in crime, that's what they are! Trying to take care of these two is like having twin monsters! They are always getting into trouble and you can't let them out of sight for a minute!

I started yelling at them and cleaning up, then I just couldn't pass up the photo op.
Good Morning!!

This is how mornings happen around the Jonesey Motel. The kids are up with the sun and head straight to the gym. The adults sleep in and find mass chaos when they awake!

Ahhhh, the life!

Motorcycle buddies!!
Brooom, Brooom!

Still in their pajamas, the cousins are having a blast! Halle is the youngest, and Dallin, Reese and Blythe were all born in the same year! Dallin is a little outnumbered in the boy to girl ratio for the family!

The yearly trek to Wyoming to get Dallin's hair cut-you'd think by the amount of hair he has we hadn't cut it for a year!

Our poor son is so shy and retiring. One of these days we will have to help him out of his shell.

He's soooo afraid of the camera! ;-)
Garrett and Jude are buddies!

They played, and played, and played, and played.....

Two peas in a pod!
Grandma's Gym!

We're so lucky that grandma has a gymnasium in her house!! She stocks it with tons of toys, bicyles, a trampoline and anything else she can lay her hands on to make kids happy!

They are happy!

This is Garrett (31/2) and his cousin Jude (2). Garrett is trying not to smile!

The kids spend 95% of their waking hours in grandma's gym!

Playing on the trampoline. Brady (83/4), Dallin (51/2), Halle (4)

Playing school in the gym. Halle, Reese (5 1/2), and Brady.

Today we had a bridal shower for Jennifer... all the excitement was just too much for Garrett. He's been so good on this trip playing from dawn 'till dark and having so much fun.

After the bridal shower the kids were invited to clean up the left-overs. We had finger sandwiches and the favorite-a chocolate fountain with fruit to dip in it!

Another exciting event of the evening was the half-time show.
Rae has become a rabbit tamer. She can hypnotize her rabbit in just a few seconds to lie this way until she comes and picks him up again. Sometimes when she's playing with her rabbit her mom will call her to do chores, so instead of leaving the rabbit to make a mess in the house she leaves him like this until her chores are done. The record is 30 min!

Playing with friends from dawn 'till dark, chocolate fountains and hypnotized rabbits... what more could we ask for? We may never come home!
Football Stars!

The big boys let Dallin play in their game of back-yard football. He didn't have the equipment, so they improvised with a bicycle helmet, and some shoulder pads from a costume. It was so nice of the big boys to include him in their game.

What a line-up! Brady, Dallin's cousin is the one in the red, and Dallin is the one with the black helmet. The rest of them are the Sims' kids, back-yard neighbors to Brady.

I don't think Dallin will want to go home when the time comes...

Okay, so I think I'm an idiot! I'm having such a hard time uploading pictures that I haven't even had the motivation to post a blog. I was doing fine, then all of a sudden, I can't seem to post pictures... Help!!

Here we are in beautiful Star Valley Wyoming! We had a long, but un-eventful trip. One of the only trips that didn't turn into a "Maury Jonesey trip"!

We left Mesa Tuesday morning at the crack of dark and drove to Mesquite NV to see my good friend Melissa and give the horsies we were pulling a rest. We drove in two separate trucks pulling two trailers with five horses in each! A LONG, SLOW trip! But it was good to stop and visit a friend!

Wednesday morning we did a little sleeping in and didn't leave until 8am to drive to Provo-again a slow trip and only one "uh-oh". A STUPID horse (I can say that because I think my dad officialy named him STUPID) tries to bite the other horses in the trailer so we had to snub his nose close to the side of the trailer. Somewhere along the road he panicked and pulled back on the rope hard enough to break it and smack his head on the roof and scalp himself! He shaved of all the skin on his face from his ear to above his eye-about a 4 inch square patch. So when we arrived in Provo, we had some doctoring to do. Then off to see my brother and his family and do some visiting.

This morning found us "on the road again..." making the drive from Provo to Star Valley! It was enjoyable to see the still snow-capped mountains and smell the fresh air as we clibed into the valley.

The moment we pulled into the driveway dallin was off playing with his cousins and I had to drag him by his ears into the house to eat and go to bed tonight.

We look forward to a fun week helping Jennifer get ready to move and prepare for her wedding and hanging out with the cousins!

The only sad part is that we miss Adam and wish he was here with us. The boys went to bed tonight asking for their daddy...they sure do love him! So do I! ;-)
