Things about me...
Okay, okay, okay, I'll do it. I love reading them, just haven't taken the time lately to sit and think and do a blog. I'm not sure why. So, now I'm repenting and doing it.
My good friend Leslie did 125 things about herself-you know just random stuff-so I thought I would do it to (but I'll start small).
25 things about me (will do more later to make it 100)
1. I enjoy yard work
2. I get scrapbooker's guilt
3. I love my kids
4. I'm starting to like my dog (not real love, just like)
5. I love Adam-he's really good at being my tech support
6. I'm really not a tech person (hence needing tech support) I just barely figured out how to put names and phone numbers in my cell phone (pathetic).
7. I love freshly vaccumed carpets
8. I like the smell of bleach.
9. I like to paint-especially my house
10. I don't mind having lots of kids at my house to play with my children-the more the merrier!
11. I like things to be tidy, but I'm a closet slob. As long as the cupboard shuts and the counters are clean I am happy.
12. I do like to do spring/fall cleaning where I open all the cupboards and clean them out.
13. My bed must ALWAYS be made in the morning-I hate an un-made bed.
14. My least favorite chore is emptying the dishwasher.
15. I'm not very good about keeping in contact with long-distance friends. I think about them all the time, but I'm terrible at writing letters, sending packages and calling...not sure why. Sorry! I really do love you all (Corbetts, Fowlers, and various missionary companions...)!
16. I am a camper.
17. I don't mind getting my hands dirty.
18. I like physical labor-it makes me feel tough.
19. I love to read in the bathtub.
20. I love taking baths. Long, hot baths with bubbles and a book.
21. I don't watch a lot of TV. I like occasional movies, but sometimes I wish I could just cut the cable cord except I couldn't live without high-speed internet access.
22. I like animals to play with and pet, but I don't like to have to clean up after them or nag my children to feed and tend them.
23. I love my new mini-van!
24. I'm not afraid to do long trips with my kids (especially now that I have a new van!).
25. I love plants, but I tend to kill them-I'm not very good at consistently watering them I either give too much or not enough.

I love reading these tidbits about you, Bekki. I knew a lot of them, but some were new. The funny thing is how different we are and yet I love hanging out with you! Reminds me of a quote up on my wall.

Yea, so proud of you. I haven't mustered the courage to do me yet so I have been doing 25 things about my kids. I'm buying time.
That is awesome! I think we should all jump on the band wagon.
