But, it's a dry heat...
That's what we tell everyone when they ask us how we can stand the 112 degree temperatures in the Arizona summer. I never really believed it was a good thing until now...it's hot and humid and I can't stand it!
We've had some storms come through the area with a HUGE storm a couple of days ago. When it rains, it cools off a bit-down into the 80's-and we love it! But between the rain it is hot and muggy! Today was a perfect example: the weatherman was declaring what a wonderfully cool 100 degree day it would be-and then he added-with 80% humidity!!
My hair is frizzy, my clothes won't dry just by hanging them, and when I went outside today to clean up the yard I was drenched in minutes! Of course my skin is nice and moisturized, but I have lotion that can do that!
Overall, I think if I have to live in a hot place, I'll take the dry heat please!

Welcome to my world and the Fowlers!! Dry is good! Another thing when the sun goes down it is cooler and you can tell. But hot is hot and 115 is hot no matter how you slice it. Love ya and always stay cool! :Delilas
Yeah, I loved the fact that mold didn't grow in my showers, even wet swim towels left on the floor would dry before they got stinky, and putting away wet dishes in the cabinets out of the dishwasher was no big deal. Now, we are fighting the mold, hanging up towels that are still damp a day later, and rotating between swimsuits because yesterday's, if not hung in the right place, is cold and soggy. Dry is good.
