Hurrah for the fig tree!
This is the fig jam I made today.... we also made fig cake-delicious! The boys and I found a recipe online and followed it-we sure do love to Google!
This is our BEAUTIFUL fig tree in our back yard...and the ladder we used to pick the figs.
These are some of the figs we picked after fighting off the birds. I think we only picked 1/8 of the figs off the tree and were able to make 18 jars of jam and a bundt-sized cake. Wow!So, Adam, I guess this means that we keep the USEFUL fig tree!
Hurrah for the fig tree!
I would much rather have a fig tree than a pool in my back yard!

Fig jam?! You are my new hero. That is too cool, but I would rather have a pool. Then you could nap in the sun instead of roast over a hot stove!
Fig Jam what a woman! Will your guys eat fig jam? I think I have to take Adams side of the swimming pool, but I understand your point about pools. Heidi really enjoyed girls camp and said she had awesome time.
