Retraction...
I take it back. The PBS special on the "Mormons" that was advertised as such a good historic look from the apostles and other members of the church was garbage! I watched about 30 min of it then turned it off. So much for good television.

It seems the world just can't stop dredging up the same things they always do about the "Mormons". They did have interviews with apostles and promptly took them out of context. Their "experts" on the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints were disgruntled ex-communicated members and historians of world religions who knew less than the average 8 yr. old LDS child in Primary. Okay, I'll stop. I was very disappointed.

Richard G. Scott was at our Stake conference this past weekend and he breifly touched on this show. He said the women worked 3 years on footage and and tried really hard to make it a balanced program. The Editors had a different agenda and She was really sad at the end product. I watched bits and peices. If nothing else it will get people to ask question. Then we can have the opportunity to clarify. :)

I felt the same way. Watched a bit of it and was disappointed. Bummer.

I was starting to feel guilty for not watching it. I would always forget to watch it. I'm glad I didn't watch it. I would get totally bugged too. Thanks for saving the disappointment for me, though. Do you have cable? I highly recommend the Food Network! I LOVE IT!
