Monsoon!

We made it home to hot and sticky weather. The past week or so has been humid and cloudy. It's great! We need the rain. Unfortunately it comes with high winds.

Our gigantic tree in the front of our house is quite brittle and branches often snap off in wind storms but this is the biggest one so far!


Last night the lawn was flooded with 3 inches of water and branches were floating down the street. This morning we tried to clean up the wreckage but we will have to wait for more muscle to move this giant limb!


I get a little nervous hoping that it's only limbs that fall and not the entire tree! Last night was SCARY!
