It's mostly done...

After changing my mind about 12 times I finally decided on a color and the tile.

We spent last week painting, finishing up the tile, grouting and hanging the range hood. I'm happy with the way it turned out!

So if you've been wondering where in the blogging world I've been, now you know.

Whew! What a project.

There are still a few touch-ups to finish. A little paint, some trim, and the hood pipe, but the majority of the work is finished.

Just in time, too. School begins this week and Adam and I are back to work. We are finally getting back into a routine after a long break.Breaks are nice, but you don't appreciate them when they get too long.

Now to do some catch up...

We had a little scare with Adam's dad. He fell and hurt himself and ended up in the hospital. His health hasn't been too good lately and overall he's just 'feeble' as Linda says. He's out of serious danger, but in Cobourg hospital trying to gain some muscle strength so he can go home. He's been in the hospital for almost two weeks now.

Jonesy and Colleen are here living in Grandpa Jones' house and doing some renovating. The house needs it. It's been fun having them close, helping them a little on the house, and having them over for ice cream once in a while. With Adam's busy work schedule I'm going to have to recruit them for some babysitting time here pretty soon.

It's so nice and warm lately. Almost too warm. It feels like winter is already over and we're headed to summer already-I'm not ready for that! I still have some warm sweaters I want to wear!

Life is getting back to 'normal' whatever that is and it's going to be a while before I tackle any big projects!
