I think I'm COLOR BLIND!

No, not the kind where you can't tell red from green, but when it comes to shades of colors I have such a hard time. Warm colors, cool colors...I can never tell the difference. And to try to choose between one shade of color and another on a little swatch from the store??? Impossible!
MICHELLE, WHERE ARE YOU WHEN I NEED YOU?!?

I was trying to choose paint to match the walls in my family room (I want to paint a window seat the same color) and I had such a hard time! I finally called Leslie to come over and help! She is much better at choosing color than I am, but we botyh lamented the fact that Michelle wasn't here to help us. I guess some people have the gift and some don't. I DON'T.

The same color blindness applies when I try to choose a color of paint for a room in my house. I generally have a picture in my head of what I want it to look like or how I want it to feel
but can't seem to put my finger on a good color. I tend to buy a quart of paint and put it on the wall, then decide I don't like it and go buy another quart of something else. I have just about any color you would want (in a quart size) in my garage. Someday I'll use them on something!
