Mookster Chronicles: Toilet Training

Yep, we're in the middle of toilet training. It's going well, I guess. It's really hard for me to not get frustrated when I've cleaned up 3 accidents and done 2 loads of laundry in one day. Not my idea of fun.

She was doing so well for a week and now she seems to have regressed! Like I said, frustrating!

BUT, she is completely fascinated with the process. She follows me into the bathroom, watches, listens (with her head cocked and eyes rolled up to the ceiling and a smile on her face) then she claps when I'm finished and wants to help me wipe! How grand! Toilet training for everyone! She even offers treats when I'm done! So nice of her!

One thing Maura taught me is why we call it #1 and #2. According to her: "It's because when you go pee you get one treat and when you go poo-poo you get two!"

Ah, ha! Now I get it!
