Triathalon Sprint
Adam likes having goals when it comes to working out. I totally get it. If you are just running to run, then how do you know when you get there?
His most recent event was a Triathalon sprint sponsored by Mesa South Stake. It was a good experience for his first time and best of all it was free!
Dallin, Maura and I went to the finish line to cheer him on. We had the perfect spot to watch for him from the playground.
Playing (his DS) on the playground.
Swings are her favorite.
She was feeling rather sassy.
"I am not sassy!"
Yeah, really sassy.
After a little wait, we finally spotted him coming around the lake.
Looking good!
On the last strech, he caught up to another runner for a little race to the finish!
Congratulatory hug from Big D.
Attacked by Maura and Dallin.
He did such a great job! Swam 1/4 mile, biked 4 miles (was suppose to be 8, but they reduced it due to the number of runners), and ran 2 miles.
In two weeks he'll be doing another Tri-sprint in Casa Grand! Very impressive!

You go Adam!!! Wuzup with the coats, it can't be cold there? I have not heard of a Tri-sprints, is it just shorter distances for each event? That is a great event for a stake to promote. I think I am going to plan a 8K run and a 5K walk next May for our ward. Maura reminds me of Heidi in some ways, their own person. love ya, Michelle and Zoe are coming over tomorrow, I am always excited to have a piece of AZ around. You know I would come back in a heart-beat, just can't get the heart to start beating. Someday!
Wow! Yes that is very impressive. And he was even smiling. So would not be me. Your kids are so cute! We like girls with Sass, we have one too.
Way to go Adam!
