We're Home!
We made the long trip home to arrive on Mother's day. It was harder to come home than do anything else we have done in the past week. But, we survived the first night at home and we are beginning to cope.
One of my coping strategies is to work-my house is in danger of being cleaned to death, as is my yard, car, garden, and little Maura (two baths today already!!)
She discovered graham crackers and LOVES them!

Another coping mechanism I have is to write and remember. I'll post some of the pictures I collect and some stories I have that will help me through the next few weeks. If you have any of your own I would love to have them.

Parker loves grahm crackers too! I buy the cinnamon and sugar kind and he goes crazy over them and makes a huge mess in the process!
I'm glad you made it back safely. Her face is too cute in that picture. I'm gonna drop off VT stuff next week and I'll swing by your house too!!
We're so happy to have you home. xo

Hi Bekki-
I forgot how important it was for babies to make messes and "explore".. I am learning that all over again, 7 years later, with our new baby girl Maya. She does the same with those teether biscuits. Remember those?
Maura is adorable! Can't wait to meet her!
Rylie does the same thing, but after she eats the cracker, she throws it up everywhere so we get double the mess!! But they sure are cute when they are messy! We are glad you are home.
for me, i LOVE graham crackers...they never get old (the flavor, not the crackers, they DO get old, I can promise). Maybe I'll show her the ol' frosting and graham cracker combo.....hmmm. Love you guys, glad you're home safe!
