Yup, I've lost my marbles.

I feel a little out of control lately, like I have so many things going that I run from one thing to the next. I'm beginning (ha) to loose my marbles a little. Yesterday was proof.

I woke up early to get dressed and ready for the day so I could feed kids and get out the door by 7:30. I work two days a week and while it makes for a hectic day, I really do enjoy it. I try to look a little less like a mom on the days I work. I put on earrings and makeup and everything.

Yesterday we were rushing around as usual hugging and kissing on our way out the door and my day began. I worked for four hours, (I'm an interpreter you know-I sit in front of a lot of people all day), picked up Maura from the babysitter, came home to change clothes and this is what I saw:

Okay, yes, not a super picture of me. The hair is windblown, the makeup coming off and I have the "deer in the headlights" kind of stare, but what else do you notice??

Yup, two different earrings. Not just small simple earrings, but dangling shiny earrings of TWO DIFFERENT COLORS! One was purple and the other one black! (I was going for the black ones and must have grabbed the other by mistake and just put it in without looking.)

The worst part of it...

I went through the entire day and no one said anything!

What's up with that!?! Come on people! How can I not look like a complete idiot if you don't help me out? You would think that at least one person would have mentioned it during my day. My hubby as he kissed me goodbye? The babysitter I dropped Maura off at? My TEAM-hello-my helpful interpreting teams did not save me from complete embarrassment! I'm sure all the clients I worked with during the day were snickering at me. I'm losing it.

Well, I guess it was better than the time I was teaching High School and forgot makeup. Or the other time I was teaching college classes and forgot to put on a bra...

I need some serious supervision in the mornings...

Glad to know I'm not the only one that this happens to.

I think I would be more embarrassed about the NO bra then the earrings. Still no fun! Great laugh though!

Hopefully you noticed and took 'em out before I saw you. I'd like to think that I notice stuff like that. More than likely they were all dazzled by your really pretty curls. I know you don't believe me but I like you with curly hair!

Yeah, I looked at the picture and didn't notice until I read it. So I probably wouldn't have been the one to help you out. But forgetting your bra... that is really funny!

Maybe they just thought you were kinda funky/hippie chic... I wouldn't have thought too much about it if I saw ya and noticed. Asymmetry is in right now... right...? no...?

Hey girl, if your girls were a little bigger and bolder they of told you right away that they did not have any support for the day, LOL to funny. You are just so cute no one cares if your earrings don't match. They were the same style and you have purple and black on, all is good. Love ya and thanks for making me laugh.

Oh how terrible! I would have been so embarrassed! That is a pretty funny story! At least your zipper wasn't down or you were wearing an awful lipstick color! And we need to go VT before this month slips away! And holy cow I just looked at the date and it is the 26th!!! Yikes, I'll call ya!!

Hahaha I love it! I didn't notice your earrings til I read it either. But I've totally done the bra thing- I had to go home from church to put one on because halfway through sacrament meeting I realized it! However I was pregnant at the time... I'll blame it on that.
