I just realized I didn't record all the fun things we got to do with the Canadians while they were here!
We had a wonderful time visiting with them. They brought us a ton of chocolate, movies, gifts, introduced us to Nanaimo Bars, and spoiled the kids rotten. It was great! Adam took some time off and it was good to just be together.
Our thanksgiving dinner was suppose to be cooked by Adam...I knew he would do almost anything to get out of it, but running a 10K is a little extreme! He and a friend signed up to run the Turkey Trot on Thursday morning so the rest of us stayed home and cooked. Well, I mostly cooked and Grandma played with the kids...it was great! Thanks grandma!
Adam got home just in time to carve the turkey and we feasted. There was much gluttony then a nice relaxing afternoon just sitting around.
On Friday we finished the last two items on the list Grandma and Grandpa wanted to do: Visit the swap meet and go see the temple lights. We were happy to have them visit and sad to see them leave. They left before Maura and Dallin woke up on Saturday morning and the first question out of Maura's mouth was "Grandma?". She couldn't understand where grandma went.
The kids loved getting to know their grandparents better and were so sad when they left. Parker is especially sad to have grandma gone :0) We miss you and hope to see you again soon!
