Bicycle parade!

Thursday (July 3rd), we mounted our bicycles, found a few extras, and decorated them. We rode in the third annual Sim's bicycle parade! They helped us decorate bikes and loaned some extras too! It was a blast!


My sister Gina and her best friend/neighbor Martha-she's the brains behind all the fun. Everyone needs a Martha!

Off they go around the block a couple of times! Dallin is in the front because he had a bicycle that didn't have any brakes! I guess beggars can't be choosers!


Next, we had yummy popsicles in the back yard,


then games! They had a sack race, three legged race, and other running races.


A grand finish!


Brady and Dallin have been inseparable this year-it's been really good for Dalllin.


Next, we had a chicken chase! I don't think I've ever laughed so hard as I did while watching 25 kids chase these chickens! Dallin caught one of them and won a prize.


Lastly, we had bobbing for apples t cool everyone off. It was a terrific warm up for the weekend activities. What a great way to start the 4th ofJuly celebrations!
