Thankful Thoughts: My Garden

I enjoy getting my hands dirty. Really, I do. I like the neat little rows. I like being outside after a long hot summer. I like the feeling of working hard. I like pulling out the pesky weeds and looking at how nice and tidy the garden looks after it's been weeded. I love eating the fresh veggies we get from the garden. What a miracle that I can put a little seed in the ground, add water, watch the sun shine on it and then get to eat such yummy things. Fresh peas are my favorite. They remind me of the gardens I had growing up. I always had to help weed and tend the garden and sometimes I didn't like it very much but I learned how to work hard. It won't be long now until I can enjoy some fresh veggies from my garden.
