Happy Birthday Maura!

The little monster is two today!


Things little Maura loves:
Drawing/coloring-she holds a pencil very carefully and makes small circles all over a piece of paper then asks for another.
Bubble wrap. She will sit for more than an hour popping each little bubble.
Climbing on the counter.
Cell phones.
Being outside.
Books.
Movies. Her new favorite is Pete's Dragon!
Animals of any kind. She still talks about grandpa Jonesy bringing his horsey.
Friends. She is beginning to identify them and ask for them by name (Rylie, Sofia, Kaisa...)
Food: fruit, fruit snacks, eggs, and cheese top the list.
She's finally letting me do her hair and leaving it in for more than a few minutes.
She's getting a two-year-old attitude and says 'no' a lot.

She got many packages, letters and cards from family and friends....she has finally realized that good things come wrapped up in colorful packages and gets excited to open them!

Grandpa Jonesy sent her a card with money in it and she wanted to carry it around everywhere!





Grandma Russell sent her stickers, a tooth brush and a pen!

Grandmas know just what little girls want. Maura likes the book, but mostly likes to put stickers on her arms and legs.

Maura looooooves stickers and pens! She loves to brush her teeth too!

Ms. Christy gave her a gift earlier this week. Maura loves it! It's a princess music box with necklaces in it.


Christy sure knows how to make girls happy!



Maura is a sweet little one we love to have around.
