Sand made from Shells

The sand on the beach was very coarse. If you look closely you can see small pieces of shells.

When the tide was low, we found a lot of big shells.

In the tide-pools we found hermit crabs, small fish and more shells.

We collected a ton of shells to make our own shell creatures.

We found all shapes and sizes.
