This weekend was pretty rough. It helped to have good friends around us.

We got letters, cards, food, and so many thoughtful phone calls. It made us feel good to know people were thinking of us and remembering Garrett with us.

Katie and Kevin came to visit for a while.


The Woolfs dropped by with a gift from many of our friends. It was so thoughtful.
Susan Wadsworth was the instigator I believe and had this beautiful necklace made.

It's just perfect!

Chris and Amber Hansen also dropped by and brought us a really special gift. A friend of theirs does pencil drawings and made one just for us.

Yeah, I cried too.

It's finally over. The first of Garrett's birthdays to celebrate without him. We don't ever have to do that again. One day at a time, right?
